Baby Clothes Are Fun and Little

These are some newborn clothes that Avery bought for Baby Mackenzie last week.

Avery was so proud of the pants in the first picture that could go with either of the two onesies.

My mom found this bib at Kohls last week also. Let the crazy shopping adventures start!

Doctors Doctors and more Doctors

This spring break has been a lot of fun, relaxing, and exciting on the baby front!

Wednesday I went to the doctor and she told me a bunch of stuff I already knew. She confirmed my due date for 9/26/09 (but we are holding out for the 29th so baby can have "Aunt Jen's" birthday!) Also at that appointment she listened to the heart beat.  Our little "Big Mac" is a kicker! Baby was kicking so much that the Dr. had to wait and do it again at the end of the visit so she could actually hear.  

Friday I went with my mom and Emily to get the first sonogram. That was fun! I was surprised at what all you can see in black and white on a 7.6cm peanut.  The spine was clearly visible, the heart was also.  We saw baby legs and baby arms, baby head (which is huge!) We also saw baby butt and she showed me a picture of a baby boy at 13 weeks and a baby girl at 13 weeks. There is a definite difference even at this stage and she said "all signs point to pink."  We aren't painting walls pink with ladybugs yet but its exciting to have a good guess one way or the other. 

These are some bedding choices that we are looking at.  Some girly, some neutral, some boy bedding I've found I like so far. 

It's a fig!

Baby Optimis Prime is the size of a fig this week. I am going to the doctor on the 18th and will have a "real" picture of baby Fig then.  I wish I could say I've been less sick...but that would be a lie. But on the plus side of that, the first trimester is over next week and they say the sickness will start going away soon. We are ready to start buying things and start getting ready and for this fruit to be done cooking already! 

I love this crib. It is from JC Penny and its crazy outrageous in price compared to how much I love it :) 
But I have a plan....My step-dad is quite the handy man...he builds cabinets for a living for crying out loud. AND I found the plans for a round crib online that is very similar to this one....I am going to try my best to convince him how cool it would be for him to make a family heirloom  and make the baby a crib that can stay in the family forever! 

He is a little stubborn so I will keep you posted on the chances of me getting this for our baby is! HAHA 

You + Me + Baby = Three

True story...Alex and I are going to be a big happy family sooner than we thought! 

We (really me but Ill give him some credit) were 10 weeks pregnant on Sunday and couldn't be more happy about it.

Well actually I could be, if I wasnt so dang sick all the time I would be happier! 

This blog is gonna take a shift from wedding fun great things to baby news and decoration greatness.  I plan on trying to keep doing some wedding stuff but we have put that event on hold until we can do it the way we both always dreamed it would be!
