It's 3am...

And Makenzie must have thought I wanted to make up for lost time with her.

She is confused that tonight I wanted to sleep I guess :0)

oh well looks like it's gonna be a fun mommy / baby mak play date

Oh No!

My cubical window is fogged up and I can't see outside today :0(

Praying for an interesting and or fun day today. The last few days have been a bummer because we have been training on computer systems and I caught on fast, while others still don't get it. Crazy "older" people just don't get computers :0)

If my bedroom walls could talk

You would hear how incredibly boring and dorky Alex and I are. It's 9:30 on Tuesday night and we are both in bed (Makenzie is asleep also) playing words with friends (scrabble on the iPhone) against different people & each other. Quality **shoulder to shoulder time** right there!

**refrence to Experiencelifenow.com "bringing sexy back" sermon series (it's good you should listen to it )

6-10

So I get off work at 5 and get home 5:45-6:00. Bed time for Makenzie is usually between 7 & 8 and my bed time is around 9 or 10.

Tonight makenzie ate at 6 when I got home & was asleep by 7. It's a bummer when I only get an hour with her all day. Pray for all of us during the time of transition.

Day 3

Work was better today. I think I am starting to like the job a little more. Emily, my mom, Alex & Makenzie came to work today to eat lunch with me! It was fun :0) I was glad to get a "Malenzie fix" 1/2 way through my day. Tomorrow is Friday! And I hope the birthday week continues to be just as great!

This is what happens when daddy has Makenzie all day :0) I love them!

Makenzie drove me to work

Praise The Lord

God is good! Sooooooooooo good! I've never been so glad that Makenzie woke up early as I am today.

Mak went to bed about 3 hours early last night so inevitably she woke up 3 hours early. We were watching cartoons and I figured I would read the "letter of employment" for this job. As I read I saw something funny...my schedule said Sunday-Thursday 2pm-10:30pm.

While this isn't a perfect schedule it is WAY better than what I signed up for back in December!

Snow White Night

Tonight Makenzie & I are watching Snow White (actually Makenzie is sleeping through it). It is such a good movie..."hi ho hi ho it's off to work we go"

This segways into the fact that I start 7 weeks of M-F/9-5 training tomorrow for my "big girl" DFPS job tomorrow :0( I know this is the job God has opened up many doors for me to get into but if I am honest, I'm not looking forward to it at all.

I found out around this time last year that I was pregnant. For 12 months I have had a baby with me one way or another, but tomorrow that will change. Makenzie will no longer be my focus and responsability while I am at work and I'm not sure what to think about it.

I'm gonna be a big girl and go to work but this little princess is gonna be missed, a lot!

We Have Reached A Milestone

Tonight Makenzie put my finger in her mouth and I felt two bottom teeth! I had another mom assure that they were really teeth and then I started crying. She is too little to have teeth!

Live like there is no tomorrow

Trying a new church this morning with Alex and Makenzie. The series is about the year 2012 and if it will end or not and how as Christians if it happens or not (this pastor believes not due to a string of biblical verses) we should live like there is no tomorrow.

Alex made homemade cheese sticks

They were pretty easy too!

It's just a string cheese stick wrapped in an egg roll wrapper, then dunked in eggs and breadcrumbs then deep fried. Yummy!

Makenzie is a nut

She hasn't napped all day. I think she fell asleep for 30 minutes earlier in the car but nothing else. Obviously this makes for a crabby baby and a long afternoon. She started acting fussy again so I suggested alex and I go get tea
from bushes and hope Makenzie fell asleep in the car. As we were getting her ready this is what she did!

Precious Goof ball!

A toy after my own heart!

Makenzie looooooves links. They are light enough for her to pick up and get into her mouth. These are links in the shapes of letters! Fun & educational all at the same time!

And they are Sassy! I like sassy toys because there is no paint on them and they seem to hold up well.

Family Game Night!

I love board games! Tonight we are playing "The Game of LIFE: Twist & Turns".

Our review: way fun! But not for young children. 10 years old is probably a good age for this one. It's a little tricky.
