Employment!

I got a job!!!

This is more than welcome news, even if the timing is a little crappy. I was hired on with the department of family and protective services as a statewide intake worker. I start on August 17, with 7 weeks of training. 7 weeks = the week after Makenzie is born. This makes me a little nervous but the way the training is set up HOPEFULLY it wont be a problem to start maternity leave a little early. So keep your fingers crossed and prays lifted that they have an open heart and keep me on staff through maternity leave.

Alex got a better job!!!

Alex has been working at Lowes in Lubbock for the last few months and has really enjoyed his time there. Last weekend when I was in Lubbock I got sick on Saturday morning and so Alex called in sick so he could stay home with me. That night we went to church and happened to run into his store manager. A few days later they called him into work for an extra training and he saw that his name was not on the schedule. After a small heart attack he found out that his managers had moved him to the delivery department because they could give him more hours and a pay raise!

So all in all God is good and is answering our prayers for his guidance and providing for our family, even while we are all separated. I am very thankful for His blessings and hand in our life plan, even when I can't see the big picture that He is painting!
